         Media-Arts
        Associates Television continues to serve as a bridge between the
        science, technology and entertainment communities and with program
        series like TECHNOLOGY ! continues to develop an impressive archive of
        series and documentaries about science and the technologies. 
        Participating in the company’s productions have been NASA/KSC,
        The University of Florida, The University of Central Florida, Boeing,
        Lockheed Martin, Dynamic Research Corporation, Jardon Howard
        Technologies, Medical Education Technology Inc., and SGI (Silicon
        Graphics Corporation). Among
        recent programs produced by MEDIA-ARTS ASSOCIATES TELEVISION’ are two
        television specials showcasing a growing area of Florida high
        technology: Simulation Forum 2000,
        and, also in association with WMFE-TV, an expanded program, Florida
        Forum: 2001 featuring the State’s leaders discussing Florida’s
        high technology future. Recent MEDIA-ARTS ASSOCIATES TELEVISION
        documentary programs include Serious Make Believe,  a
        dynamic documentary that shows those new to the industry how simulation
        touches our lives, with Adam Arkin; Immeasurable
        Value, a documentary on medical outreach involving vo-tech students
        and human patient simulation,  and
        a feature on the Interservice Industry Training Simulation Education
        Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando in December.  Currently,
        Media-Arts Associates Television is developing Countdown
        Tomorrow, a news and information series on space and Science
        Slices,  a rollicking
        children’s’ science series from the nationally acclaimed
        “hands-on” Orlando Science Center.  Our
          Network Affiliate   WMFE-TV, channel 24, Orlando is the local network affiliate for TECHNOLOGY !. The close association between the station and the MEDIA-ARTS ASSOCIATES TELEVISION partnership of academia, high technology and state-of-the-art television production will enable national audiences to gain a new view of science and technology. Audiences will appreciate public television’s action to bring high tech and its benefits to their attention. People want to learn new things, especially public television audiences. This program satisfies that wish.      Our
          Key Team Members   Priscilla
        Elfrey, Kennedy Space Center, NASA liaison, serves as chief creative
        and technical advisor to the series. She co-produced and directed the Forum
        series with Bob Boris.  For
        NASA Headquarters, as executive producer, she developed and produced
        numerous programs in association with Cantomedia (New York) on space
        commercialization. Elfrey has been honored for outstanding creativity
        winning awards including the “Telly”, New York Film Festival,
        Crystal Reel, Quasar, Association of Visual Communication, US Industrial
        Film and Video Festival, and International Television Association.  Priscilla
        Elfrey was a founder and NASA project manager for the National Center
        for Simulation and co-founder of MEDIA-ARTS ASSOCIATES TELEVISION. Her
        background includes writing, directing community and street theatre. She
        is also the founder of two off-off Broadway theatres including The
        American Place Theatre.  As
        Associate Dean of Yale College, Priscilla Elfrey served on the Yale
        Public Information Board and as a producer and participant in its weekly
        Yale Reports television series. Elfrey is NASA liaison to the simulation
        community, and a member of the KSC Speaker's Bureau.  A
          graduate of Barnard College at Columbia University, Priscilla Elfrey
          did graduate work at Columbia and NYU in dramatic literature, mass
          media, and communication, studied film production with the Photography
          Workshop (Rockport, Maine), the Hollywood Producers Institute, and
          Valencia Community College. Elfrey is a Fellow of the Florida Center
          for Electronic Communication at Florida Atlantic University in Fort
          Lauderdale.     Bob
        Boris, president, and co-founder of MEDIA-ARTS ASSOCIATES
        TELEVISION, is Executive Producer for the series. 
        Specializing in developing and producing key concept, regional,
        national and international documentary and entertainment projects,
        Bob’s 30-year career as an accomplished producer, writer and director
        of feature films includes over 200 television specials and series for
        both commercial broadcast, cable and public television networks.  Among Bob Boris’ recent productions is the popular and successful Florida Outlook series, The People’s Law Forum series, Newsmakers, and Property Lines. In local development at Media-Arts Associates Television, in addition to Spacecraft programs, are specials on Florida’s education crisis, the Medicaid gap, and Florida’s art treasures.
